Their judgment counts for a lot. I sort of studied Leonard Cohen over my lifetime. He seemed to have all the right moves and all the right connections to get a stage and an audience and contracts yes, even chicks with whom he hung out at exotic Greek Islands and such. I suppose I was envious. Well at least I made it frequently into the mail order catalogues.

If I may be allowed a moment of immodesty here: Women were almost fatally attracted to me in my late teens on up to my mid thirties when I finally figured out how to avoid this behaviour towards me by overly amorous silly girls and women. I bloomed late sexually Tony and had no desire for any woman until I was around 19 to 20 years old. I had heraldic and chivalric feelings towards a few damsels prior to then ( too much of the adventures of Prince Valiant and King Arthurs Knights of the round table while still a child ) but I never spoke to those girls, they were idealized and untouchable and I was their unknown protector and Champion. It was a constant worry about who was in our house when I came home as these girls would friend up my sisters and be laying in wait for me. Once I landed back on earth it was a different matter though I lost all inhibition when it came to the great game of sex and love. In all that I got very lucky I was married twice my first wife died and I now live happily with my second wife.. Each of the two women and I were friends to me who I had known well before tying the knot. We liked each other as friends and each knew the kind of person with whom we intended to spend our lives with. So whats the moral of this story,. I have no idea the Schpiel has no message what am I trying to say... dunno. You figure it out Tony.

Frig I know so little about Jewish culture and religion, the term Zionist, the term Gentile etc. He was born in 1934 and died in 2016, how would he have known this and was it towards the end of his life? I only know him as a singer songwriter musician and I love his Live in London cd and listen to it so very often. Do you consider it feasible the globalists orchestrated the entire conflict to create more hatred more unrest more division around the entire world as very successful if that was their intent.

I don't care to inform anyone ( or teach ) about Jewish culture or religion Zionism and Gentiles at all... especially if as you say you know nothing about it. If you enjoy Cohens music and his lyrics move you then there is no need to explain anything.
I have opinions Sonya thats all, but there is a root to it, I have some connection to the subject at hand. Some connections are deep others not, but I would not comment if I knew nothing about it at all.

I go back all the way to the time of the Beatnicks and Lenny Bruce. Each new set of groupies was vying for the top dog spot to replace the last group that had all the worlds wisdom in their poems, music and mysticism. But this new group had a new message ( just like new improved Tide soap ) to shape the new stage for all eager newbies who wanted to get it, and they got the message and the vibe man. The money rolls in' the business suits gorge themselves, and wait for the next magnetic Guru to step on the stage with his entourage of the enlightened.
I didn't like Cohen or his work,. I thought his influence on youth was greatly over rated. His dreary monologues left me unimpressed: Today Manhattan Tomorrow Berlin or she brought Oranges that came all the way from China.

Thanks for replying Joe I appreciate your perspective. Can’t grow without being open to hearing other’s perspectives. I don’t know why I know next to nothing re Jewish culture/religion other than it never entered my life in any way, shape or form cause one reason my parents chose Canada to immigrate to, was for freedom to worship in one’s own way or not lol as the case may be.
I’m thinking there likely isn’t any famous singer, musician or band or individual who doesn’t have characteristics within their person that aren’t desirable but for me I mostly just love the music. Do you remember The Travelling Wilburys 1988-1991? Bob Dylan George Harrison Jeff Lynne Roy Orbison and Tom Petty? So much talent in one band just like The Eagles, I grew up with rock and roll as you can obviously tell.
