Rocky has lived with me (us ) for seven years now. I don't know Rockys history at all other than the fact that he was chipped and neutered in the past according to the Vet I brought him to for a checkup after Rocky decided to move in. The Vet would not divulge the name of Rockys owner so those two facts are all I know about Rockys previous Cat life.
Rocky is a greyish banded tabby with very soft fur which sheds little. He is sleek but also muscular. The most unique thing about Rocky are his eyes... huge black deep pools surrounding a luminous bright yellow almost diamond shaped pupil which changes in size shape and luminescence.
Rocky communicates with his eyes and I have come to understand his eye language as the thoughts expressed from deep within him. He can be vocal too meowing as all Cats do, and of course he is a master at Cat body language.
Rocky radiates a field of positivity emanating from within that little coil of energy that is his feline being. Want to lighten up and smile more find a Cat.
Yesterday evening I had one of those eye to eye moments with Rocky. We where playing cards on the dining room table with old friends when Rocky jumped up and came directly over to me messing up my stack with his paws. It's unusual behaviour for Rocky as he knows we serve human meals not Cat meals on that table. I got a slight bit angry, .5 on a scale of 10 and pushed Rocky away thinking that he would jump off the table. Rocky stood still in the centre of the table, head slightly below his shoulders and then came over to rest on his haunches in front of me, raised his paw and placed it very gently right in the middle of my forehead.
I was taken aback and wondering what had got into Rocky but as I stared into his beautiful eyes I spotted the soft plea that said ! Is This Card Game More Important To You Than I Am ...
