A clip from the Israeli-English podcast ‘Two Nice Jewish Boys’ is going viral on social media, showing hosts Naor Meningher and Eytan Weinstein discussing the idea of wiping out every single person in Gaza if given the chance.
Weinstein stated that if there were a button to "erase every living being in Gaza," he would "press it in a second," adding that he believes most Israelis would do the same.
Like Tony, I was born in 1951. I remember collecting stamps about age 9 or 10--Israel had really nice stamps and I managed to get some. I asked my dad if Israel was good or bad, were they an enemy or were we on the same side. He assured me they were the good guys. I remember this specifically because I know that truth about the state would not have been available at the time--so we were told only the good about Israel.
I did not know how old I was when I went to the theater to see Exodus with my grandparents, when it came out, but I see that it came out December 15, 1960, so I was 2 years and 8 months old. I went alone with them, because my little brother wasn't walking yet, I presume. I was potty trained.
I have not heard that haunting melody of the theme song for many decades, but I immediately recognized it. It was deeply compelling to me somehow. I remember asking my grandmother why they didn't want to let the people off the ship. I couldn't understand why. They were nice people. It seemed unfair. I remember my grandparents being more distant than usual in their answers and explanations to my questions. They were usually very clear in their explanations.

This baffles me WBJ. No fault in an honest statement of your views gained through much varied life experience and considerable reading during almost a century of life. When in doubt, I suppose, copy to your own data base to fend off censorious vandalism.
Me too.. I usually write Check ( just that word ) In the comment then post to see if it works, I forgot to do that this time.
I got prompted for my bio first which I did not do as I knew that this would not help, from past experience. Then I received an e-mail to click for verification which I did then returned to my post and presto t'was gone in the wind.
No worries mate.
I destroyed an annoying fly by ripping its wings and legs off one at a time after immobilizing it with my swatter a short time ago.

Hi Professor,
I did not know how old I was when I went to the theater to see Exodus with my grandparents, when it came out, but I see that it came out December 15, 1960, so I was 2 years and 8 months old. I went alone with them, because my little brother wasn't walking yet, I presume. I was potty trained.

Now I "get it".
I fell for it too. My partner and I were going to emigrate to Isreal in 1972. I'm so glad my path in life did not take me there. So glad!
I like the truth.

Is this my fault again Tony

Now I feel much better.
This little tale has significance.
