Very interesting. Blavatsky too is very interesting. What a character. She's being relegated into the dark sphere of occultism as Steiner is too. Only straight up Catholicism is okay by the internet standards and even people like Matthew Ehret are trying to get Steiner and I'm sure, Blavatsky looked on generally as ' bad '. Its interesting about the intense hunger, which I have never fasted through, for the first three days. But I know Karen Carpenter died of slow heart because of her anarexia - so what about that ?
Great article Tony. I did a fast of three days in 2018 and felt better afterwards but as you elaborated I could have gotten better results if I continued. What source do you recommend to do a long fast? I'd like to try a week. By coincidence the other day I was talking to my girlfriend about Rockefeller funded Flexner Report which helped undermine all non-drug and non-surgery centered treatments. Pharmafia became king while traditional forms of healing pushed down the drain. All supported by Rockefeller whose father was a fraud selling fraudulent remedies, a mix of laxatives and petroleum by-products. The other stuff their suppressing is extreme fasting with no food, nor liquids. People who have taught themselves to survive on things like electrons, breath, sun, chi/prana/holy spirit. Peter Straubinger's award winning film went into this entitled IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS LIGHT. The other stuff probably just as important is sunlight and exposure of body to the earth. Dr. Jack Kruse goes into great details and I saw an interview he did with RFK Jr. Artificial light is extremely toxic. The old incandescent lights which emit light of various spectrum as the sun and are safer than those fluorescent, LEDS were banned in the USA. I thought at 1st this was total rubbish until I went to a Bruno Groning group healing session outside of Montreal and met the animator/guide. Vidhan/Carolle happened to be a retired psychotherapist, artist and who spent time in India studying meditation and she was a girlfriend of the late PM PE Trudeau, and at her place I met her live in friend Bill, a retired engineering executive who has vast knowledge on history, science, etc... and then met Vidhan's son-in-law who also spent time in India and is a physicist, light inventor and former president of THE INTL LIGHT ASSOC. I read his fascinating book on light. At these sessions I met people who were spontaneously healer from severe illness like lyme, cancer. Though it wasn't every 2nd person I met there I still found it impressive. Now I understand why people like Michael Shermer denigrate everyone questioning state sponsored crimes/SCADS to those exploring ESP, NDEs, natural healing, power of faith. The elite wish to also disarm us spiritually from our higher consciousness. Dr. Rupert Sheldrake who explores all of these phenomenas has been smeared by mainstream science and said that while he gets no funding from govt nor corporate but by small donations, people like Shermer find themselves getting tons of $$$ to attack people like him.
Tony, I really appreciated this praise of fasting piece. Once I tried doing a 40 day fast, but chose to quit against my better hopes when things went south on day 31. I hope you make it to your goal. Yes, long fasts probably were and should be again a commonplace practice. And I will say as a Christian, as my forrhcoming book will make explicit, that Christians ought to restore the fasting traditiins of the early church. The benefits of fasting are yet more proif that the best things in life are free!
Yes fasting has a reveered role in all religions large and small I expect. I can imagine with your attempted 40 day fast you had Moses and Christ in mind. I nowasays go to a Christian Church almost every Sunday, Truth Tabernacle. There the Pastor underlines that Christ came once and fulfilled the promise of God to the Jews. Then their leadership crucified the son of God. The Jews were subsequently dispersed after the Roman destruction of the Second Temple and they were left behind unless they converted in the new era of Jesus the Saviour. The messiah came once and we, both Jews and Christians, should not anticipate his return. The Christian Zionist transformation of the Prince of Peace into a god of war is a blaspheme of the first order.
