Very comprehensive, Tony. Thank you for all the research and work you put into this article. I can only add one or two anecdotes.
Several years ago I was lent a copy of “Son of Hamas” by Mosab Hassan Yousef (with Ron Brackin – ghost writer). Recently I also discovered that my own brother had also read it. We had diametrically opposite interpretations and reactions.
Mosab Hassan Yousef identifies himself as the son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founder and spiritual leader of Hamas.
I read this before I had ever had any thoughts one way or the other about ‘Palestine’ and certainly years before the current events.
The book starts out with a blood-curdling description of how he [Mosab] was treated by the Israelis (gets your sympathy for the underdog) but then skilfully turns the narrative by describing how much WORSE the Palestinians are to their own kind.
Here are some of passages that started to raise some red flags …
“Two weeks later, on September 11, nineteen Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four jetliners in the United States. Two crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. Another crashed into the Pentagon in Washington. And the fourth went down in a field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.”
“The [Park Hotel] explosion killed 30 people and wounded about 140 others. Some were Holocaust survivors.”
“On March 29, I checked into the City Inn Hotel on Nablus Road in Al-Bireh, where the BBC, CNN, and the rest of the international media were housed.”
“[…] I told them. “They’re New York Times best sellers. [] They’re just stories about human experiences.””
“[…] that same month I started a job in the Capacity-Building Office of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Village Water and Sanitation Program, headquartered in Al-Bireh. Long title, I know, but then again, it was a very important project.”
“My job with USAID gave me a certain amount of protection and freedom as well. And the Shin Bet always had my back.”

The Mosab narrative integrating the lies and crimes of 9/11, demonstrates the problems that arise for us from not having closed off that sequence of lies to support the current sequence of lies. In the well funded psychological operation of the Global War on Terror there must have been lots of Mosab Hassan types helping to develop the narratives of other Muslim patsies, assets, and mercenaries, the kind of thing that must have been integral to Netanyahu's long career in office.
Yes, my take is that 10/7 is that it was a false flag and that Hamas is at least an Israeli asset. We'll never know what the truth is. I was surprised to learn from my research in Israeli sources about the alleged close interactions between Hamas and Netanyahu for many years. Might they have cooperated in the prelude to October 7 to each pursue opposite agendas that nevertheless have fed enabled one other in weird ways?
Thinking of the interactions of Netanyahu and Hamas caused me to think of this local case study as a kind of case study to better understand the dynamics of the so-called War on Terror. Its terrible to see to contemplate 9/11 as a strategy for poisoning many minds against the billions of Muslims and of Arab people in the world with special attention given to the demonization of the Palestinians, The whole manufactured atrocity propaganda going on in Israel now shows how easy it is to flick on switches to instigate Islamophobia.
I'm still working on this, trying to wrap my head around what's really going on. I actually saw a translated video with a Hamas fighter on why he fights--and it felt very sincere and genuine. Dear Prof Hall, after Oct 7th, I wrote a simple line: False flags work. Also, for the event to be effective, people need to die, especially civilians. I heard a rumour that the venue for the rave was changed about 24 hours before. Regardless, the overall optics served the purpose for gaining public and international support to punish Hamas. At the same time we have documented testimony by released hostages who have shared their very humane treatment by Hamas. It seems clear that the purpose of the prison break was to get hostages for the purpose of negations, for the release of hostages in Israeli jails and also termination of the brutal seize on Gaza. Were their elements of Hamas in collusion with Netanyahu et al.? I don't know. Regardless, it is painfully obvious the goal of this false flag was to initiate the final phase of the brutal ethnic cleansing. The Palestinians in a super-human capacity, still wish to reclaim their land and rebuild it. I have never seen such courage and strength in my life.
